Day 1: Arrival in Nairobi

Day 2: Nairobi to Masai Mara National Reserve

Depart Nairobi in the morning and drive or fly to the world-famous Masai Mara National Reserve, arriving in time for lunch. In the afternoon, embark on your first game drive through the Mara’s vast savannah plains, home to the Big Five and an array of wildlife, including cheetahs and zebras.

Day 3-5: Masai Mara National Reserve

Spend three full days in the Masai Mara, with morning and afternoon game drives. The Mara is one of the best places in Africa to spot lions, leopards, and elephants. If you visit between July and October, you may witness the Great Migration, where millions of wildebeest and zebras cross the Mara River. Consider an optional hot air balloon safari for an extraordinary view of the Mara at sunrise.

Day 6: Masai Mara to Lake Nakuru National Park

Day 8: Lake Nakuru to Aberdare National Park

Animals like elephants, buffaloes, and sometimes leopards are known to frequent the area.

Day 10-11: Samburu National Reserve

Spend two full days exploring Samburu National Reserve, with morning and afternoon game drives. Day 12: Samburu to Ol Pejeta Conservancy (Sweetwaters)

Day 13: Departure to Nairobi
