Tsavo East National Park is one of Kenya’s largest and oldest parks, renowned for its vast savannah, diverse wildlife, and iconic landscapes.
Located southeast of Nairobi, it covers over 13,700 square kilometers and offers visitors an authentic, untamed African wilderness experience. Famous for its large herds of red elephants (colored by the park’s rich red soil), lions, giraffes, zebras, and abundant birdlife, Tsavo East is a wildlife lover’s paradise. The park is also home to the scenic Yatta Plateau, one of the world’s longest lava flows, and the stunning Lugard Falls on the Galana River.
